Rights of the patient

  1. Right to considerate and respectful care.
  2. Right to obtain all the relevant information about the professionals’ involved in the patient care, diagnosis, treatment and medicine.
  3. Right to expect that all the communication and records pertaining to his/her case be treated as confidential.
  4. Right to expect prompt treatment in an emergency.
  5. Right to get copies of medical records.
  6. Right to refuse to participate in human experimentation, research, project affecting his/her care or treatment.
  7. Right to know what hospital rules and regulations apply to him/her as a patient and the facilities obtainable to the patient.
  8. Right to ask private and secure area during medical treatment or care, within the capacity of the hospital.
  9. Right to receive care meeting the highest standards regardless of race, religion, national origin, disability gender, sexual orientation, age military service or source of payment for care.
  10. Right to be informed about and participate in decision about your care, including informed consent to the extent provided by law.
  11. Right to get details of the bill.
  12. Right to be protected from physical abuse or neglect.
  13. Right to have information on how to voice a complaint.
  14. Right to have information on the expected cost of the treatment.


Responsibilities of the Patients

  1. To faithfully undergo the agreed therapy.
  2. To follow the doctors instruction diligently.
  3. To take necessary preventive measures in case of infectious disease as per the doctors instructions.
  4. To be aware that doctors and nurses are also human being and are amendable to mistakes and lapses.
  5. To make the payment for the treatment, wherever applicable to the hospital promptly.
  6. To be punctual to attend the hospital for the treatment at the given time.
  7. To preserve all the records of one’s illness.
  8. To keep the doctors informed if the patient wants to change the hospital / doctor.
  9. To be considerate and respectful of other patients and KLE Ayurveda Hospital staff and respect KLE Ayruveda Hospital Property.
